Media as a tool of empowerment.

More often than not youth and community voices are ignored and devalued. Attain Productions seeks to end this disenfranchisement by giving individuals either the skills to develop their own voice and story, or the platform to express the issues and topics that are important to them. Working with Public Health, Youth Services, schools, charities and other third sector organisations, Attain Productions works to empower youth and communities to share their thoughts, ideas and concerns with a wider audience from peers, to other stakeholders and to those in positions of power.  Our approach is based in the power of participatory video as a means of empowerment. 

Attain Productions utilises film and media in three distinct ways: 

1. Youth Engagement in social, health or behavioural issues including intervention based approaches

2. Community Engagement in specific social issues

3. Film and Media as a research or documentary tool in youth and community issues
