About us

Attain Productions was formed by Stacey Williams after working for 5 years on a peer-to-peer youth engagement media project as the Head of Prevention & Education at Cut Films. Through her time at Cut Films many organisations were requesting film projects outside of project remit (anti-smoking), about issues that they felt were either more relevant or pressing. These requests came from both schools and youth clubs as well as commissioners such as Public Health. This was the basis for creating Attain Productions, enabling groups (both youth and community) to have a space to create films, photographs of audio pieces that are relevant and flexible to the changing needs/issues in society. 

We work with various freelancers filmmakers with backgrounds in youth and community engagement to deliver our projects and who share in the ethos of our company.

Meet the Team

Stacey Williams - Director

Stacey Williams has a strong background utilising film and media in documentary and promotional films as well as in youth and community engagement. She is passionate about the use of media to communicate complex ideas and its potential to create social, behavioural, and/or community change. She is a graduate with a BA in Anthropology and History from the University of Lethbridge, Canada in 2006 and holds and MA in Visual Anthropology: Ethnographic Documentary with Film from the Granada Centre for Visual Anthropology at Manchester University in 2009. Previous clients have been Cut Films project, Creative Education Academies Trust, British Safety Council, HMDT Music, MK Gallery, MAC UK, Latin America Foundation for the Future among others.

Shanil Kawol - Videographer and film facilitator

Shanil Kawol graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from King's College London. He is an experienced videographer and has been working with Attain Productions since its inception. He has directed various short films, many of which have won prizes over the years. Not only is he skilled in traditional filmmaking he is also skilled in 360 camera and creates regular content in this format. He is highly professional and an incredibly creative addition to Attain Productions.
